We call these our magic carpets because these amazing Indigenous Artists weave the magic of thousands of years of culture and tradition into each rug. With natural dyes, sustainably foraged from the jungles and lands around them, they dye the wool they have raised, card it, spin it, and weave it in the same way their people have been doing it for thousands of years. Each piece is steeped in culture, a culture passing on their traditional art as well as their traditional respect for our mother Earth and all her children. When you buy a power piece like this you benefit from thousands of years of indigenous wisdom. You also do a small part in supporting the passing on of these traditions as it remains a viable way to make a living.
